SC – Self-coloured: Code 01

EB – Electro-brassed: Code 02
Corrosion Resistance: Low
Applications: Decorative, internal only
Comment: A general decorative brass finish used where corrosion resistance is not required.
FB – Florentine-bronzed: Code 03
Corrosion Resistance: Low
Applications: Decorative, internal only
Comment: Generally used as a decorative dark bronzed finish where corrosion resistance is not required.
ZN – Zinc-plate: Code 04
Corrosion Resistance: Good
Applications: Bright finish, internal
Comment: A bright finish which will give fairly good corrosion resistance.
NP – Nickel Plate: Code 05
Corrosion Resistance: Low
Applications: Internal only
Comment: A decorative finish used where corrosion resistance is not required.
YZP – Yellow Zinc-plate: Code 34
Corrosion Resistance: Very Good
Application: Internal and External
Comment: A yellow iridescent finish which gives good corrosion resistance.
ZY – Yellow Zinc-plate: Code 54
Corrosion Resistance: Very Good
Application: Internal and External
Comment: A bright ‘brass-like’ iridescent finish which gives good corrosion resistance.
S500 – Supercoat 500: Code 50
Corrosion Resistance: Very Good
Application: Internal and External
Comment: This finish is used where a high degree of corrosion resistance is required.
Powdercoat: Codes WH/BL
Corrosion Resistance: Very Good

Comment: This finish is used where a good degree of corrosion resistance is required for a decorative finish (potentially with a larger variety of colours than standard plating techniques can accommodate).

Polished Brass: Code PB
